“To know the difference is imperative!”

Just as our dreams are born or generated from that silent place within us; the winning game in life is also principally, a matter that is determined from within us.

Ayurvedic Medicine say that the cause of all disharmony, all disease, all ill health, all success and everything you ever wanted or didn’t want in your life, is known by a sanskrit term  ”pragyapradh” which means the “Mistake of the Intellect”.

I know when I heard this statement it took some explaining before it got through. For those who might be like me . . . sometimes a little slow in understanding . . . here are some examples that might help.

If you already know its true meaning  . . . well done . . . but please stay with me as the following examples may shed extra light that may help you further on your quest.

As a Practitioner for over 20 years of Professional experience I have had some very interesting conversations.

From those who choose to listen . . . “very awakening.”

For others who choose not to listen, those I can’t help at the moment, because their agenda is not in a good health space, I hope they will awaken someday to this enlightening information.

I once had a conversation with a very frustrated, disappointed and unhappy fellow on his 4th divorce. He was very stressed and going in and out of depression.

His health needed urgent help.

He was, as you might imagine, very down on women and on marriage. I did not improve his mood by suggesting that bad luck of the draw might deliver one, two, maybe even three insane and evil women . . . but four?

It had not occurred to him that he was the common denominator.

Same thing is true of the person whose every business relationship, strategic alliance, joint venture, or opportunity to improve their wealth seems to go south on them.

Or the person who loses weight but gains it all back, from diet after diet after diet, eventually proclaims all diets to be frauds.

Or the person who starts an exercise or health regime time and time again, failing with each attempt, eventually telling everyone around them that natural medicine doesn’t work.

Or the employee who goes from job to job to job and at each one finding a dumb boss and nasty, backbiting, spiteful co-workers.

Of course, you can’t assume all trouble is of your own making.  Nor is it!  The world is full of people who are ready to take advantage.

But if you smartly look at every situation that continuously occurs and you find similar patterns that are unsatisfactory, you should stop and question how you operate.

Once you find out how you operate then look at the beliefs that created the behaviour.

Here’s another example by way of an old joke . . . it does get the message across though . . .

Two construction workers sitting on a beam  . . . on opening their lunch box -

Worker #1 exclaims: “very nasty swear word said very loudly,” cheese sandwiches again!

Worker #2 asks: why don’t you ask your wife to fix you something different?

Worker #1 replies angrily: I live alone and pack my own lunch.

Another very simple example of how the mistake of the intellect works.  Most mistakes are totally unseen by their owner. The mistake of the intellect is an inner voice that you know very well.

You know that little voice . . . opening up the fridge for an apple and walking out with your favourite naughty food . . . choccies, ice cream, cake – you know what I mean.

Therefore nearly everything is determined from within. Good or bad.

Now there is a little voice that we need to be in contact with more often and that is our intuition. That “Good” little voice is your Intuition and the “Bad” little voice is the mistake of the intellect or your inner saboteur.

To know the difference is imperative.

Also modern society has beaten your once loud inner positive intuitive voice to a mere whisper.

Also the environment may have some influence but because we also have free will, we have the choice to choose.

Most unfortunately choose unwisely.

For some, most of the above can be seen as serious negative fragments of information . . . for those who sit back and watch life pass them by….. or positive insights for those who take action.

Fortunately 20% of people are action-takers.

And of that 20%, 5% are extraordinary at what they do.

Every day each of us should ask ourselves which side of the ledger do we sit?

Many of us have a tendency to look beyond ourselves when accounting for our inability to achieve, to exceed, or to surpass.  In so doing, what we seem to say is that, for the larger part, circumstances are beyond us.

It’s easier to blame life, than it is to blame ourselves.

To achieve anything in life without your health it is virtually impossible to accomplish your dreams.

I really don’t know what it is about the human psyche; personality, beliefs or thinking that goes on in the depths of most people. Why they consider their personal health with so much disdain or disregard.

Why they wait for the CRISIS. Why they wait, in most cases when it’s too late.

As much as we would like to be victorious, successful, to excel in certain aspects of our life, external situations are ever on the ready to thwart our good intentions.  However, if we can only learn to focus inwards, we’d be surprised to realise that most of what we can achieve in life is actually pre-determined from within.

This is where the winning game begins – from within!

By focusing on your Intuition you immediately quieten and eliminate the mistake of the intellect.

Take Time To Set Your Goals, Create Your Vision and Know Your Life’s Purpose.

In order to achieve success in life, to be a winner, to have optimal health, goals must be set.

Proceeding in life without goals simply means that you have no idea where you’re headed to. And when you don’t know where you’re going, how then can you accomplish anything significant?

As Victor Hugo, French poet, playwright, human rights campaigner, and perhaps the most influential exponent of the Romantic Movement in France, once quoted “Where no plan is laid, where the disposal of time is surrendered merely to the chance of incident, chaos will soon reign.”

You see, life has to be much more than just functioning in a basic sense.

Life has to be about realising your inner potential, exercising your abilities, exceeding your boundaries and taking part in the winning game.

This is why setting goals must be a continual practice.

It keeps you in a constant state of striving to achieve.

Without goals, you cease to strive. Stagnation and dormancy set in which then may contribute to ill health and an inability to have optimal health and wellbeing.

Maintain the Momentum!

Once goals are in place, you are then aware of what you need to be working towards at any given point and this enables you to exert your energies purposefully towards succeeding.

By keeping in touch with your inner drive and constantly referring to your vision, you are able to derive the much-needed fuel that spurs you on in pursuit of your goals. Also, there are times when we do realise a goal, we can place the emphasis on other people and external factors as responsible for our positive development.

In so doing, we shift the credit for our own success to others.

Please keep in mind that you too deserve acclamation, as it was you who initially set the goal and have allowed the situations and people to assist you along the way.

It is very essential that we learn to make our inner self, your intuition our primary point of reference.

Not only does this help us to stay connected to our dreams, it gives us a place to draw strength and focus from when the road becomes a little bumpy and it also ensures that we harness the energies within which may otherwise go unutilised.

Why not partake in the winning game – take time to go within your inner self for inspiration and guidance, then set your goals and enjoy “The Winner Within You!”

To have optimal health makes this journey easier, that’s why most  Ancient texts talk about the light of intuition will not enter if the body is toxic.

Here’s an interesting example and it’s a common theme . . . Wishing You Good Health,
